PaymentWorks is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer with a strong leaning towards frontend development to enhance and expand our digital payment platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience building web applications in Python and Django, with a passion for crafting robust frontend solutions and a willingness to engage with full stack responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the design of new features and optimization of existing features.
- Integrate React frontend elements with backend APIs built in Django/Python.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Maintain and improve the frontend architecture to ensure high-performance applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Stay informed of emerging frontend technologies and propose adjustments to workflows and technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in full stack development with a significant focus on frontend development.
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Solid understanding of frontend integration with backend APIs.
- Solid understanding of modern web fundamentals, including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience working within distributed systems, understanding scalability and reliability aspects.
- Proven ability to build complex web systems and applications.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
Desired Expertise:
- Experience with web application development using Python and Django.
- Comfortable with writing frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and Material UI.
- Proficient with RESTful API design and implementation.
- Strong grasp of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Experience working with modern cloud providers such as AWS, Azure or GCP
