Web Clients Required to Support TLS 1.2+

The TLS protocol is the primary means by which PaymentWorks secures all incoming connections to its web endpoints. PaymentWorks currently requires clients to support TLS version 1.2 or higher, with supported options and ciphers described in the ‘TLS-1-2-2017-01’ column in this document.

SFTP Clients Required to Support SSH2 and Publickey Authentication

PaymentWorks provides an SSH2-compliant SFTP endpoint for customers requiring bulk file management capability. Our SFTP service requires that clients use publickey authentication only; no password-based authentication is available. SFTP public keys generated by our clients can be registered with us as authorized keys via the help of our technical support teams. Any access to our SFTP endpoint requires client IPs to be registered on our Allow Lists. Registering your allowed IPs can also be done with the help of our technical support teams.
