Payments Project Manager
PaymentWorks is seeking an individual to join our Payment Operations team. The Payments Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating PaymentWorks’ implementations with customers’ financial institutions as well as supporting our live customer processing. This includes but is not limited to, coordination with customers, the customers’ financial institutions and various internal PaymentWorks departments.

In this position you will:
- Be responsible for integration activities with a customers bank (ODFI), including testing, certification and ongoing maintenance.
- Act as a critical resource for the Customer Success, Implementation Services and Sales team and aid them as the subject matter expert on ACH payment processing.
- Maintain a high level of accountability and professionalism to internal and external stakeholders while striving to exceed service level standards.
- Maintain a working understanding of the PaymentWorks products, staying current with system information, process/policy changes and relevant updates.
- Demonstrate flexibility in being able to handle interruptions well, prioritize work appropriately, and transition between tasks with ease.
- Other duties as assigned.
About you:
- 3-5 years experience working in high-demand financial oriented organizations.
- Strong project management skills including great attention to detail, organization and analytical skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Experience managing projects with third parties, such as banks or payment processing providers.
- Understanding of NACHA and ISO 20022 files is a plus.
- Ability to learn and effectively navigate internal payment applications.
- Understanding of SFTP and file encryption.
- Excel at managing competing priorities across simultaneous projects.
- Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, Monday.com, Vitally, Hubspot, Slack and Google Apps.
- Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
