Product Manager – B2B Payments
Remote - US
PaymentWorks is seeking a Product Manager to define, own, and evolve our ERP integration capabilities while scaling our partner ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and external partners, We’re looking for a Product Manager who will play a pivotal role defining the vision and strategy of our B2B payment-related solutions. You’ll collaborate with customers, internal teams, the VP of Product, the Partnerships organization, and C-level executives to execute on your growth initiatives.

Has a strong understanding of the market and competitive landscape and will drive a strategy that delivers measurable business results; including revenue growth, usage growth, customer acquisition and retention. Will perpetually strive for product differentiation that resonates with the market.
- Business and Financial Acumen: You uphold business objectives. Lead efforts to develop and present business cases that articulate product value, timelines, and financials to obtain organizational support.
- Decision Making: You ask the hard questions that others won’t. Will challenge the organization to keep the customer in mind while making difficult prioritization decisions that reflect the product’s vision, strategy, and goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish the B2B Payments product vision & strategy to drive and support value we deliver to customers.
- Create business value: your objective is to create successful business outcomes through product insight and execution.
- Establish strong relationships with customers, users, partners, and to inform strategic and tactical roadmap priorities.
- Product owner responsibilities: Ensure user stories are “ready”, backlog grooming, close collaboration with Engineering team, release tracking, story acceptance, etc.
- Product lifecycle management from concept to launch.
- Lead, define, represent and communicate your product strategy to all stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Collaborate with internal customers, such as Payment Operations, to ensure the successful handling of payment files/instructions.
Desired Experience:
- Previous B2B payments experience is strongly desired.
- Working knowledge of NACHA and ISO20022 file format and handling processes is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience in fintech, security, and/or SaaS applications in any combination
- Experience in startups or small company environments
- Fluent in all aspects of Product Management and the Pragmatic framework from the “market side” (sizing, pricing, value-proposition, sales enablement) to the “product side” (roadmap, engineering-interaction, launches, user-tests, documentation) - to name a few.
