Content Marketing Manager
In this newly-established role, our first content marketer will be an instrumental part of creating and executing compelling and original content to support our team's ambitious goals. You will spearhead the establishment of our content marketing calendar, write like you are running out of time, and manage freelancers to help you to consistently deliver compelling and effective content.
The ideal candidate will have a background in B2B technology marketing, excellent writing skills, and experience creating a variety of content mediums.
In this position you will:
- Create visually appealing & SEO-optimized written content including videos, webinars, podcasts, infographics, thought leadership, blog posts, solution briefs, one-sheeters, event collateral and… well, pretty much everything.
- Develop and maintain editorial calendars and content project plans; iterate based on what you learn.
- Collaborate with product marketing to develop industry and role-based messaging; collaborate with sales to provide content to support funnel movement.
- Coordinate with partners, thought leaders, and other third parties to produce high quality joint collateral.
- Optimize delivery strategy for each piece by implementing best practices, and repeatedly test various tools, content formats, and distribution channels with various target audience segments.
About you:
- An absolute rock-star at writing and editing with a complementary side of seriously creative juju
- Three or more years of B2B SaaS content creation experience, with extra points for fintech, ERP, or payments exposure and understanding
- A love of organization with a passion for the details that turn something from good to great and from great to spectacular
- An appreciation for the importance of SEO and experience effectively driving SEO optimization results with your content
- A desire to be a foundational member of the marketing team who will be influential in shaping our corporate voice
